There was this hat that sat on our heads and decided which house we belong in. We had a very long discussion me and the hat. McGonagall (that's my new boss lady. she's a grand old harridan and I want be just like her when I grow up) told me that it was the longest hat sitting ever. Don't I feel like a heel now? Wasting all that time. Shame on me. Shame, shame, shame, shame. Mariachi Band (that's my frog. I mean familiar. A vast sorcerous creature to be sure. He's so mighty and imposing sitting there on his favorite pink rock) is telling me that journal entries in the wild should be solemn, brisk affairs in which one records only the necessary data relevant to one's research. So I suppose I should give that a try. Slytherin: The house I didn't get into. Very slithery. They get to live in a hole in the ground. I'm jealous. Ravenclaw: Bookworms. Don't think much more needs to be said. Hufflepuff: Unassuming bunch. Wish I had gotten to say hi. Gryffindor: My house. Everyone has cats. Okay, see, that just isn't working for me. I think I just haven't been properly trained in the art of brisk journal taking. Sah ... I'm bored and the lake is calling me. I'll talk about my housemates later. post comment
